i was on my first america-spanning-headlining tour in... denver, colorado. some 25 days in, feeling sharp and on point i was clawing to find inspirational beat material on the road. in the parking lot outside 7th circle, i found this beat on soundcloud and immediately wrote the rhyme with al and brandon in the car (tho they eventually left cos i started zoning). by next week i was performing the song in my sets and we noticed its effect immediately. this song set the tone for wtytt as well as the vocabulary, this one is the mission statement. shout out Nobody for letting me get open on it !
